Battery Kit.
Details and Installation Information
1) Orient the BareBones SS Display for Installation.
As shown in the illustration, flip the BareBones SS Display over and lay it on a soft, non-abrasive surface to access the highlighted parts.
2) Remove Z-Bar Hanging Assembly, Wire Plate Cover, & Cord Wraps(Optional).
As shown in the illustration, using a #2 Philips Head screwdriver, unscrew the (2) 8-32x1” pan head screws to remove the Z-Bar Hanging assembly. If you will be using the Velcro Hanging Kit, unscrew each of the 8-32x1” pan head screws to remove the Cord Wraps as well. Using the Torx #10 or Hex 2.5mm unscrew the (2) 3mm Hex screws to remove the Wire Plate Cover .
3) Install the Battery Kit.
As shown in the illustration, using the two previously removed M3 screws for the Wire Cover Plate, secure the Battery Kit to the Barebones SS Display via the red highlighted M3 threaded inserts.
4) Install the 5V USB Rechargeable Battery.
As shown in the illustration, install the 5v USB rechargable battery being no larger than 5.875"(15cm) length x 3"(7.6cm) width x 1.9"(4,8cm) height, by sliding the battery through the velcros straps and tightening them. Once the battery is secured, plug the Micro USB cable into the battery.
5) Connect the USB/DC Cable.
As shown in the illustration, place the DC end of the USB/DC cable through the hole located on the top of the blue highlighted Ethernet/Power Housing and plug it into the female DC plug located there. Plug the USB end of the cable into the 5V 1.0A USB Port. Plugging this end into a higher ampere rated USB port such as 2.1A is uneccessary and will drain the battery much more quickly.
6) Battery kit Install Complete.
The Battery Kit when properly installed should resemble the illustration shown.
Velcro Hanging Kit.

NOTE: Sign should NOT be mounted using this kit above trafficked areas where people would be standing or passing underneath.

As shown in the illustration, flip the BareBones SS Display over and lay it on a soft, non-abrasive surface. Retrieve the Velcro Hanging Kit and remove the 8-32x1” pan head screws. Locate the threaded inserts on the rear of the BareBones SS Display and secure the Velcro Hanging Kit pieces to it using those screws.
2) Velcro Hanging Kit Install Complete.
The Velcro Hanging Kit when properly installed should resemble the illustration shown.
Standard Hanging Kit.

1) Orient the sign for installation and install.
As shown in the illustration, flip the BareBones SS Display over and lay it on a soft, non-abrasive surface. Retrieve the Standard Hanging Kit and Cord Wraps with their respective the 8-32x1” pan head screws. Locate the threaded inserts on the rear of the BareBones SS assembly and secure the Standard Hanging Kit and Cord Wrap pieces to it using those screws.
2) Standard Hanging Kit Install Complete.
The Standard Hanging Kit when properly installed should resemble the illustration shown.
